Country Manager - Medical Devices.

Charlton Morris (CM) Medical are currently partnered with a Globally renowned Medical Device company who have invested heavily into the Asia Pacific market. The Japanese market is high potential for the business, so they are looking to add a Country Manager to provide leadership and guidance to the established team.

The position will oversee 10+ employees and $5-10M in revenue (the realistic plan is to grow this to $30M).

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Japanese organisation including sales, marketing, customer support, service and tender management.
• Full P&L responsibility for Japan.
• Transform the overall business strategy into a local Japanese strategy.
• Create regional sales & service plans to achieve local targets.
• Lead marketing activities and launch new products into the market in collaboration with the regional marketing team.
• Participate in international projects, cooperating with both the APAC and global teams.
• Select, hire and develop new teams to drive headcount growth within the market.
• Sales forecasting, planning and preparation of monthly statistics.

Requirements

• Proven track record in a sales or country leadership position in the medical devices/ hospital sector.
• 3-5 years experience in managing teams.
• An understanding of how to grow business revenue in Japan.
• Fluent Japanese & English speaker.
• BSc degree is strongly preferred.
