Sales Representative, North Germany.

Our client already has a global presence but is currently expanding across the EMEA space and so joining the team would mean you are crucial to their development.

Working closely with the Business Development and Sales Lead DACH, your main responsibilities will be to support the commercial objectives and targets for the territory.

 

What will you do?

 

The successful candidate will assist and co-ordinate business development, identify sales opportunities and manage territory issues. They will initiate sales processes by scheduling appointments, construct presentations, and tend to customer requirements by providing pre and post-sale product education. Consulting, problem solving and responding to customer enquiries are expected skills and a customer-focused, efficient and persuasive manner is mandatory. Close collaboration with other functions will also be apart of the candidate's day to day responsibilities and so proactively identifying and managing promotions and opportunities is critical. Building rapport with client accounts, assisting in the evaluation of proposals and participating in customer meetings with customer satisfaction at heart will be expected from the candidate.

 

Any other duties deemed necessary to support the Service Manager and wider team, will also be expected from the candidate.

 

What will you need?

 

The successful candidate will need a minimum of 2 years experience in commercial sales with knowledge of selling medical device capital equipment to large industry users. They will have a high level of computer skills including MS Office suite and have knowledge of SalesForce with the willingness and ability to learn new systems. Information processing and persuasion skills are a must, as well as the ability to multi task, analyse data and have a strong attention to detail. The client is looking for someone who already has experience in new business lead development with direct knowledge of key accounts and established relationships. Evidence of meeting and exceeding in sales targets, strong written and verbal skills and a degree-level education is ideal.

 

Other expected qualifications:

  • Fluent in German language
  • Fluent in English language (reports will be presented in English and so a professional/ fluent level of speaking and understanding is mandatory and non-negotiable)

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with document management systems such as QAD
  • Specialist validation qualification
  • IPC understanding
